In India, the summer season kick-start the arrival of mangoes, ‘the king of fruits’. Besides mango tasting, the festival also sells processed mango items such as jam, chutney, mango pulp, mango juice, jelly, etc. Also, huge stalls with reputed chefs prepare mouth-watering mango-based dishes like shakes and desserts with a twist. There are other recreational activities like mango eating competitions, quizzes, folk performances, folk songs and anything you can think of related to a mango.

  • The festival is held from 5-7July at Dilli Haat Janakpuri.
  • The entry fees are ₹20 for adults and ₹10 for children.
  • Opening & Closing time is 11am-10pm.
  • To reach, you can either take a cab or metro; the nearest metro station is Tilak Nagar.
  • Since the largest number of the crowd is expected, so it is advised to visit in the early morning to avoid the rush.
