India Heritage Walk Festival brings you the Sajjangarh Fort tour on 2nd feb 2019, from 4:30pm – 6:30pm. All bookings for this walk are powered by Odigos.
Sajjangarh Fort is a hilltop residence in the Udaipur city. It was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1884 and offers the panoramic views of the city’s lake, palaces and surrounding countryside. It was built chiefly to watch the monsoon clouds, from where the name Monsoon Palace came about. This architectural marvel is truly a sight to behold, especially when it is illuminated in the evenings. The palace provides a beautiful view of the sunset.
Ms Poorvi Jhawar will be the walk leader. She is a final year software engineering student and has worked with SonyLiv and several NGOs to shoot videos with the intention of emancipating women (mostly from rural backgrounds) and spreading awareness. She enjoys travelling, writing and exploring different cultures and themes.
